Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat was recently spotted wearing a blue halter gown with all-over sequin and bead detailing that looked like tiny bubbles from afar. The gown featured a small train which Colbie matched with black pumps.

We couldn’t find out who the designer of Colbie’s kitschy blue dress is, but we do find the bead work interesting. Here it is in detail:

We don’t see much of light blue sequined dresses being worn by celebrities probably because it’s not a popular color choice. But if you’re looking for a sparkly dress to wear for the holidays that isn’t in the usual black, red, silver or gold hues, try wearing one in blue just like Colbie does. We’ve chosen shorter dresses so they’re versatile enough to wear to any holiday bash:

MinkPink Fireworks Sequin Mini Dress, $118

BCBG MAX AZRIA One Shoulder Dress, $208.80 (was $308)

ABS Allen Schwartz Boatneck Open Back Sheath Dress, $189.99 (was $380)

BCBG MAX AZRIA Pat Ombre Sequin Sheath Dress, $398
Any of these dresses will look great in silver strappies, so take your pick and have a sparkly, party-filled blue Christmas!
