While browsing for sequined frocks to feature, I came across this lovely dress from Marc Jacobs.

Maggie Q’s Sequin and Leather Ensemble: Rockin’ or Not?

Model and Nikita star Maggie Q attended the 2013 Audi-Golden Globe Kick Off Party wearing a sequined black mini dress with a frayed hem, a black leather moto jacket and biker boots. She accessorized with a black clutch, metal feather earrings and a thin cross pendant necklace. With her head to toe black ensemble, the actress might have been channeling the tough girl persona of her TV show character. Do you think her look is rocking or are you reeling from it?

I think it would have worked better if she wore a different pair of shoes as her boots are a bit heavy and chunky. A little heel would be nice and she could have showed off her gams even more with a pair of strappy stilettos, ankle booties or platform pumps.

Tipsy Tamara Ecclestone Parties Hard in a Stunning Sequined Gold Dress

Formula One heiress Tamara Ecclestone has made headlines quite recently when she was photographed looking buzzed after leaving a New Year’s Eve party in London.

Her mother Slavica is seen supporting Tamara, who’s had one drink too many and appearing unsteady as she exited Annabel’s. Despite the billionaire heiress’ inebriated appearance, we can’t help but wonder about her stunning gold sequined dress which she matched with nude Christian Louboutins, a crystal box clutch and a festive glittery hat.

Too bad we can’t see the details of the dress’ neckline as Tamara’s tumble of curls covered the front, but we know that the dress is gorgeously sequined. If we’re not mistaken, it’s an Emilio Pucci creation. The socialite was also spotted a few days before the New Year fete shopping for an outfit with her sister Petra and Pucci was one of the designer boutiques they stopped in. Here is the dress which we think is the same one Tamara wore, if not something very similar:

“Golden Girls” Amy Poehler & Tina Fey Wear Sequined Dresses with Chuck Taylors

More than just laughs: Best Comedy Actress nominees Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to host 2013 Golden Globe Awards (screen grab from Youtube)

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards is a little over a week away and we’re excited to see some of the year’s best-dressed celebrities in the most glittering and jaw-dropping sequin creations.

While waiting for the big day on January 13 and browsing for updates on the show, we saw a funny promotional photo on the awards’ new hosts — Amy Poehler and Tina Fey — where they’re snapped wearing gold sequined dresses with Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers.

Said to be channeling Kristen Stewart (who is known for wearing designer outfits with sneakers), the comedic tandem are hell-bent on wearing sneaks with their gowns to stay comfy. Let’s see if the funny duo will stay true to their promise.

Quite interestingly, though, the two are competing against each other for the Best Comedy Actress award — Tina for 30 Rock and Amy for Parks and Recreation alongside contenders Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep) and Lena Dunham (Girls).

Rachel Zoe’s Little Sequin Dress Tips and Top Picks

Ultimate celebrity stylist, fashion designer and sequin lover Rachel Zoe gave us the scoop on how to wear the Little Sequin Dress or LSD on Extra a few days ago.
