Hailee Steinfeld Shows Us Just How Girly A Sequin Dress Can Be

Sixteen year old Hailee Steinfeld arrived on the black carpet (take note, it’s black!) for the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in New York City on July 16. And yes, she added a delightful color to the almost too-bleak setting. Bravely inconsistent with the movie’s “dark” theme, the young actress beamed in a turquoise and pink sequined dress (where an oversized, playful bow perches on the collar) from the Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 Collection. She paired it with black patent platform sandals and a clutch bag, also from the same collection.

Hailee made her mark in 2011′s True Grit where she played the role of Mattie Ross. For her great performance in the movie, she was eventually nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 83rd Academy Awards on January 25, 2011. Hailee is currently working on new romantic flick Can A Song Save Your Life? with Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.
