Spotted in Sequin: Lea Michele is Glee-ful in NYC

Glee star Lea Michele was looking spunky in a silver-tone sequin jacket over a white top and a navy blue fringed skirt. Hailing from nearby New Jersey, Lea strutted her street wear with flair while proving to fans and onlookers she’s got that big city vibe. She looked confident, yes, she did. The photo above and below were taken as she approached the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of The Late Show with David Letterman, where she was making a guest appearance.

Well, she already looked chic in this get-up: sequin jacket by Zadig & Voltaire paired with a dark skirt by Jenni Kayne and black ankle boots by Jimmy Choo. But wait until you see what she actually wore to the David Letterman show! Yes, this lady can sing and she’s got the body to boot too. Her transformation from preppy to sexy was a total stunner.  She wore a white dress by Amen, nude heels by Christian Louboutin and jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz.

Which outfit do you think suits her better? Anyway, for what this blog is really all about: her jacket. The sequins on this jacket are tiny so you can imagine how long the sewing process takes! I like the single-button closure and front pockets. The jacket appears to be padded on the shoulders, too, which wasn’t really necessary.
