The Hunger Games World Premiere: Elizabeth Banks’ Stunning Wardrobe

The red carpet rolled over for the cast of The Hunger Games which premiered in moviedom with enormous hoopla this month. The movie is expected to hit box office records, official reviews are already raving on about the film’s exciting and thought-provoking drama.

While fans and media focused on lead actress Jennifer Lawrence whose performance in the film is said to be fiery and unabashed, we turn the spotlight on Elizabeth Banks. Taking on the role of a half-demented and insanely but falsely patriotic woman, Banks made sure her dresses to the premiere events were as tough and as character forming.

How could you NOT notice her? It would not suffice to say that we feature Elizabeth Banks here because her dresses are significantly sequined: we also absolutely adore all her frocks from day 1!

And I’ve saved the best for last! Banks wore a sparkly sequined dress by Elie Saab during the premiere in Germany. I give my two thumbs up for this wildly ethereal, futuristic number. She definitely glows in this dress!
