Michelle Williams is still working her ‘sixties style streak when she attended the 2012 Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon yesterday, February 6th. Wearing a rather wee looking mod dress from Victoria by Victoria Beckham and sporting her trademark Twiggy look, we found the dress charming and youthful – albeit a bit too much for someone her age. But we love the peter pan collared dress with it’s hand painted, vintage looking cloud prints outlined with tiny sequins.

Unlike the other attendees who wore ladylike numbers, Michelle went the opposite way and sported this cute, fun piece that’s as eye catching as it is charming. Of course, one would want to stand out and be talked about specially when you’re nominated for an Oscar.
But don’t fret, you can copy this look without the need for an Academy nomination. Here’s how, in three easy steps:
Alice by Temperley Elle Sequined Dress, on sale for $182.10 from $607
We’re in love with this steal from Shopbop , which is at 70% off! The dusty pink chiffon looks delicate and feminine, topped off with intricate sequin accents.
Chinese Laundry Loosen Up Comet, on sale for $39.99 from $49.95
Pair it off with classic pumps with dainty accents, like this pair of Chinese Laundry pumps that are on sale as well. The bow and peep toe details gives it a whimsical twist.
