The Many Ways to Wear the Sequined Vest

We’ve talked about sequined coats and jackets and even dresses here but we’ve never really tackled a sequined vest. And so we have that for our agenda today.

DRESSY

I took cues from Olivia Palermo’s knack of mix and match for this dressy look. A floral tulip skirt from Catherine Malandrino, $262.50 paired with a color blocked tank top from Splendid, $42 is so very Olivia, which I’m quite sure she will finish off with a sequined vest cinched at the waist with an Anne Klein suede belt, $45.90. A pair of statement suede wedges from L.A.M.B, $249  might just be her footwear of choice.

EVENING

Kate Moss was my inspiration in this evening wear look. Kate is just relentlessly stylish and when it comes to evening wear she always has an element of surprise in her. In this case its the sequined vest worn over a simple yet stunning Calvin Klein strapless number, $995. A pair of strappy L.A.M.B. sandals, $295 will complete the look.
